Trip Overview

Chitwan Jungle Safari is the most exciting and famous adventure in Chitwan National Park, which was incorporated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984. During the safari, you can enter the jungle in a Jeep or on an elephant, where you will have a fantastic opportunity to see various animals. The park is home to about 68 different species of animals, such as Asian one-horned rhinoceroses, sloth bears, tigers, and leopards, and more than 500 species of birds. Crocodiles or Gharials are some of the most watched animals that can be found near the Rapti River.

During this 4-night, 5-day tour, you will enter Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and drive to Chitwan to enjoy the scenery. Once you are in Chitwan, you will do various activities like a jungle walk, bird viewing, boating or canoeing, elephant bathing, elephant breeding, a visit to a tharu hamlet, a Tharu cultural show, a jeep safari, and sunset views.

Jungle Safaris in Nepal can be done all year round, but the best times are Autumn (September to December) and Spring (February to May). However, the most recommended period is from September to December as the rainy season will end and the weather will be nice and clear. This Chitwan Jungle Safari is the perfect choice for both wildlife explorers and cultural enthusiasts. You will not only experience the jungle safari but also the culture of the indigenous people, their foods, and their dance.

We, Dream Kailash Tour, have curated this itinerary so that you can fully immerse yourself in Nepal’s ancient culture and discover its flora and fauna. If you have any more queries, feel free to contact us.
